Congratulations EA, The Best Company in the World

EA has won the award for the best company ever, its official. EA has achieved what no business before has achieved, they have managed to actually take money from people offering the fountain of youth in return...

"Become Forever Young - Will your Sims uncover the curious magical properties of Hidden Springs? Explore the World and you might discover rejuvenating waters, drink from the Fountain of Youth and your Sims wishes just might come true."

That's right all you owners of hidden springs can boast that you paid 25$ for the promise of eternal youth.

A great achievement indeed. Congratulations EA

Of course I don't actually know if Hidden Springs is good or not, but there is a certain limit to what price someone should pay for something like that.

One piece of Advice...

"How To Know When EA is charging to much?" 

"Whenever they are selling."

Does EA really deserve the criticism that I give it...

Titanic 3D

For those who don't already know, The 1997 movie Titanic, one of the greatest movies of all time, is being re-released in 3D. The director, James Cameron, director of Avatar, which most will know as a 3d masterpiece, personally oversaw the 3D conversion, and I have been reading in the entertainment news, that the privileged few who have seen some of the converted footage have praised it, and of course expected no less than perfect from James Cameron.

 It is set for release in April 2012, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the sinking (Perhaps a bit distasteful, but hey, I'll be lining up at the cinema). Titanic was the highest grossing film ever, beaten only by Cameron's  Avatar. Who knows perhaps this re-release will beat Avatar?.

My Thoughts On Pets Especially The Unicorns

So it would seem the new creature is a Unicorn, I have seen at most half a dozen threads in the last month and its been too long since I checked simprograms, so forgive me if I produce any incorrect information.

 But anyway, as said at the outset the unicorn is the new creature, I tend to agree that its an over rated horse, and therein lies my question, it is after all a horse, can it really be counted as the new creature. 

In games past the creature has essentially been a sim, in one form or another. 

WA: Mummy

AMB: Simbot

LN: Vampire

GEN: Imaginary Friend.

All these were really sims with unique features, and all except for the simbot I think, could be turned (back) into sims.

Now as many have pointed out they take the horse which is one of 3 major animals that has been added, and tweaked it and made it the new creature.

I don't think this counts as a new creature really, even if they did make it super awesome, its still a horse is horse of course of course.

So It's Snowing And I Do Not Like It

It hardly ever snows here, in fact I don't know anyone who remembers it snowing in my part of the country ever before. Anywhozzle, travelling is terrible, and unfortunately the snow had to come the week in which we are travelling. The sad thing is at my house it is barely even snowing, so I can't even enjoy it, but major roads are closed, so we still have to suffer the consequences. STUPID SNOW. It does make for a lovely postcard if you live in the right area though.
